Reserved Instances (RIs) are now being aggregated and presented by the Spotinst Console in Normalized Factor Units (NFUs), providing you with more visibility into RI utilization.
AWS Regional Linux/UNIX RIs are sized according to a normalization factor that is based on the instance size (e.g. nano = 0.25, micro = 0.5, small = 1).
The new NFU graph provides you with a clear view of your reserved capacity per Instance Family. Moreover, Elastigroup takes NFUs into account when scaling your cluster, ensuring maximization of your RI utilization.
Visit the Spotinst console today to get started and maximize RI utilization.
