Increase cloud cost savings with enhanced Kubernetes workload right-sizing

Ocean by Spot’s right-sizing feature helps cloud users optimize their workload resource utilization while reducing unnecessary infrastructure costs.

Ocean continuously monitors Kubernetes workloads’ CPU and Memory usage, providing sizing recommendations for deployments based on the delta between the workload’s request and utilization.

These suggested changes help utilize cluster resources in an optimal manner and lower chances of issues resulting from under-utilization or over-utilization.

Today, we are happy to share that we have expanded Ocean’s right-sizing mechanism to provide recommendations for Kubernetes statefulsets and daemonsets as well. 

This new ability is already available via Ocean API and the Ocean console for all Kubernetes users, including EKS, Kops and other distributions.
