The Challenge

SkyBOX is growing rapidly and with new contracts, comes the need to host additional workloads in the AWS Cloud. As their infrastructure grows, SkyBOX has been working to increase their performance by shifting where the workloads are hosted and the sizing of the EC2 and RDS Instances powering them. With an ever-changing infrastructure, identifying the best way to save money with Reserved Instances became difficult.

The Solution

To capture the significant amount of savings available while working on modifying their infrastructure, SkyBOX brought in StratCloud to continuously monitor and optimize their Reserved Instance Fleet.
